In the old
days the Swedes would just drop off the family for the summer.
A few still do that, but now its the destination
point for 6-10 weekends per summer. Families
enjoy full access to the grounds, club house and many outdoor facilities including a redwood surrounded under the stars outdoor dance floor.

Fathers would drop the wife and kids at Sveadal in June and picked them up in September,
visiting on weekends!
The property is about a mile long and private, so children are safe roaming around. |

Every year Sveadal puts on a large Midsummer Festival. Swedes from all over the bay area come to enjoy a formal Midsummer ceremony, dancing around the may pole, a large Swedish boutique, and an evening dinner and dance extravaganza! The entire property is a redwood forest set in the hills. |
