Sveadal was founded by some Swedish settlers in the early 1920’s. It was a country summer retreat for Swedish city dwellers. They wanted to set up a place where Swedish traditions, music, food and dance could be observed (and for over 80 years preserved for future generations!) |

For several generations, families have spent entire summers craw-fishing in the creek, swimming, hiking, playing tennis, softball, and taking part in many crazy Swedish parties! |
